LA STYLE RUSH is a Los Angeles-based e-commerce website that celebrates rave culture, music festival fashion, fandom cosplay costumes, and exclusive collectible design wear.
For the GYPSY RAVE Fashion Campaign, I worked with Band of Outlaws to promote the Spring 2020 LASR collection of festival clothing and accessories. For this pandemic-era campaign, we envisioned a physical and mental vacation for the festival-goer, celebrating the creativity and expression of rave culture, while adhering to social distancing guidelines. For graphics, we selected a bold graphic sans-serif font for main titles, and individual collaging techniques for a rugged, inspirational road trip design. For secondary title treatment, I created a custom handwritten font for personalized scrapbook effects, designed custom crescent moon and sparkling star vector icons, and overlaid imagery of vintage maps, tissue paper, and ripped paper textures. To finish off, I added minimal line framing, neon mint scribbles, and neon glowing gif animations and scale changes to emphasize various products and seasonal sale promotions. Collateral included various hero and sub images for the website homepage, gif animations, website collection banners, Facebook covers, promotional e-blasts, and social media content.
