Creative Communal Curated Markets is a curated open air Pop-Up Makers Market featuring local artisans, crafters, and creative makers all across Southern California, from Long Beach, Redlands, Orange County, and San Diego.

For this Pop-Up event at a local restaurant, the Markets requested a series of event collateral and social media graphics with a boho beachy vibe and soft muted color palette for the end of summer season. To create these looks, I employed a selection of light corals and warm pink tones, and created textural sandy background shapes and bold graphic coral silhouettes. To emphasize the handmade quality of the local makers, I illustrated individual seashell and nautical line drawings and calligraphic lettering for the main title treatment and event details, and selected a contemporary sans-serif font for secondary content. Finishing touches included doodling clean white sparkles to mimic glittering sand and sea and add subtle depth, as well as including off-white textured watercolor shapes for alternate promotional designs. Marketing and promotional event collateral included Instagram feed and story images, a blank newsletter design, and Facebook event banner.
