For this Pop-Up event at 2nd & PCH, the Markets requested a series of event collateral and social media graphics with a boho and beachy vibe for the early fall season. For these designs, I was inspired by the changing of the seasons and the effects of the moon on the ocean’s tides and surrounding beaches near the venue. Utilizing a distinctly autumn color palette, I selected colors of warm light purples, soft ambers, muted lavender, and deep golden browns, and designed a custom handwritten font for the main title and bolded event details in analogous hues. To bring symmetry and cohesion to the complementary color scheme, I created a mirroring watercolor moon phase design in a center composition, added a minimal sans-serif font for secondary content treatment, and doodled watercolor brushstrokes, textured sparkles, and line-drawn star and constellation illustrations. Marketing and promotional event collateral included Instagram feed and story images, a blank newsletter design, and Facebook event banner.
