LA STYLE RUSH IS A LOS ANGELES-BASED E-COMMERCE WEBSITE THAT CELEBRATES RAVE CULTURE, MUSIC FESTIVAL FASHION, FANDOM COSPLAY COSTUMES, AND EXCLUSIVE COLLECTIBLE DESIGN WEAR.

For the WORLD TOUR Fashion Campaign, I worked with Band of Outlaws to create mood boards, graphics, and promotional images for the Spring 2022 collection of music festival fashion and rave outfits. Working with the Band of Outlaws team, we were inspired by the nomadic and free-spirited culture of music festival attendants and ravers, and the passion of music enthusiasts and band fandom subculture. Taking cues from some of our favorite film characters, like Almost Famous’s iconic Penny Lane, we created a campaign full of the adventurous tour life and high energy van life vibes. For graphics, I utilized gritty textures, dirt smudges, ripped pages, scanned paper textures, and custom typography mixing various fonts and styles, as an ode to much-beloved rock bands, such as the Sex Pistols, and associated punk graphic styles. To further reference the analog era of music fandom and nostalgic road tour life, I applied VHS-style textural glitches for a home-video-style graphic effect for sales and promotional events over the spring festival season. Collateral for this collection included designing all homepage graphic imagery, campaign collection banners, social media collateral, animated gifs for sales and promotions, and email marketing blasts.
