LA STYLE RUSH is a Los Angeles-based e-commerce website that celebrates rave culture, music festival fashion, fandom cosplay costumes, and exclusive collectible design wear.
For the NEW YEAR DRIP Fashion Campaign, I worked with Band of Outlaws to create mood boards, graphics, animated gifs and promotional images for the Holiday 2019 season. With the new decade of the upcoming 2020s, the Band of Outlaws team conceived of a roaring twenties Gatsby-style end of the year celebration of LASR’S rave clothing and festival fashion collections. To harken back to the iconic 1920s era, I selected two main title treatment fonts in a Modernist sans-serif style in both bold matte white and an applied gold colored texture, customized Art Deco-style framing to highlight the model, products, and content, and added original thin-lined graphics for simplistic depth. Final touches included creating multiple individual animated gif versions for sale promotions and Instagram. Collateral included various hero and sub images for the website homepage, website collection banners, Facebook covers, promotional e-blasts, gif animations, and social media content.
